Purpose of Keeping a Proper Name in Astrology
In this
world, every person is known by their name. Very few people know, but name can
also portray their nature. That is one of the reasons, that naming ceremony (naamkaran)
holds an important place in Indian culture. The name is given to the child after
a few days of birth. Names are kept according to the result of a detailed study
related to the time of birth, date of birth, sunshine and other factors. Because
name is an important factor which basically determines the intelligence,
personality, knowledge, behaviour and other characteristics of person.
In India, it
is believed that there is a fraction of gods and goddesses behind these dates
and time of birth. That is the reason that the children’s name is sometimes similar
to the names of god and goddess in India. It is often said that god and goddess
are the guardians of the child.
The Importance
of name can be explained in a way that when Lord Ram’s name was given by Kulguru
Vashisht, Lord Krishna’s name was given by Guru Garg and the name of the five
Pandavas was given by Sage Bhaum. In fact, Late. Indira Gandhi’s name was given
as “Priyadarshini” by Late. Ravindranath Tagore. This gives a person a special
identity. So, name gives a person a special identity.
Name is an
art. In this way, someone’s personality can be determined by their name and all
these is possible because of name. But astrology says that names should only be
kept after taking suggestions from an astrologer, because astrologers suggests
names after a complete study with time of birth, date of birth, zodiac, place
of birth and other factors.

with Numbers:
The zodiac
of a person is determined by the numbers. For example: if a person’s birth date
is 19, then 1+9=10 which means 1. The number “1” determines that the zodiac of
this person may occur as Aries (mesh). In this zodiac, numbers from 27° to 30°
are a sign of good luck. The number “1” is for Mars (mars). Mars protects the person
from different type of obstacles and from all the enemies. Planet mars make the
personality of a person more glorious.
